The Hocho style blades are approximately 1 1/2" wide and 1.5mm thick. They are skillfully flat ground from top to bottom and then honed to a very thin, astonishingly sharp edge, combine that with the continuous curve on the blade and wide thin cross section and you've got a blade that's unparalleled for cutting and shearing power.
